Letter From the Editor
Hello and welcome to the next issue of The Sims Official Magazine!
To everyone who read the first issue, welcome back, and to everyone who’s reading us for the first time, we’re happy to have you.
We were overwhelmed by the support we got with our first issue. Some of what we wrote, you loved; some... not so much. Whether you love us or not, we’re listening to what you say, and we can’t thank you enough for all the submissions we saw in our inbox, entries on The Sims 3 Facebook Page, and posts you made on the The Sims 3 Forums. Thanks in no small part to your feedback, this issue is better in nearly every way and is packed full of great stories, screenshots, and contributions from you.
We appreciate all of your submissions and comments and have added a special Letter section to give you even more room to tell us what you think. We’ve also added a second Architect’s Eye this time around because the Winchester Mansion story was such a hit. We’ve improved on the Store catalog and made it a point to put more of The Sims Social and The Sims FreePlay items in those sections. We’re also pleased to include our very first celebrity interview with Elizabeth Gillies of “VICTORiOUS”. As it turns out, she’s quite a big fan of The Sims and a master of inter-Sim-family drama.
And of course, our cover for this issue is The Sims 3 University Life Expansion Pack. This is a very special expansion pack for me because, if you read the first issue, you know that I actually first started playing The Sims while I was at college. So, as much as this issue is a step forward for The Sims Official Magazine, it’s also a look back for me at how I got started with The Sims and a unique perspective on all the social opportunities I chose to experience in The Sims 2 University instead of at my real-life college. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy this issue of The Sims Official Magazine!
